This year’s Aquaculture Europe conference will be held in Rotterdam in the Netherlands from October 20 t0 23 and focus particularly on the vital links between aquaculture, nature and society, the European Aquaculture Society (EAS) announced this week.

“Speakers will be looking at the role and contribution of aquaculture to the management of natural resources and its importance in society through the provision of high quality, nutritious and healthy food,” explained a spokesman for the organizers.

Delegates to AE 2015 will also have an opportunity to see how the industry is operating in the Netherlands before the conference, which will include industry forums, special panel discussions and trade exhibition.
