BIO World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology announces call for presentations

The Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) has issued a call for presentations for the 2018 BIO World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology, scheduled to take place in Philadelphia July 16-19. The BIO World Congress is accepting proposals for panel sessions, company and technical presentations, GreenTech investor sessions, and poster presentations.

The Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) has issued a call for presentations for the 2018 BIO World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology. The 15th annual BIO World Congress will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia July 16-19, 2018.

The BIO World Congress is accepting proposals for:

  • Panel Sessions
  • Company and Technical Presentations
  • GreenTech Investor Sessions
  • Poster Presentations

The BIO World Congress is seeking cutting-edge, original session topics relevant to one of our diverse program tracks, including:

  • Algae Production Technologies
  • Renewable Chemicals and Biobased Products
  • Synthetic Biology and Gene Editing
  • Advanced Biofuels and Biorefining
  • Specialty Food Ingredients, Flavors and Fragrances
  • Growing Global Biobased Markets
  • Agricultural Crop Technologies and Biomass Supply

The deadline for submitting panel session proposals is January 19, 2018 at 5:00pm EST.

New this year, the BIO World Congress is seeking proposals for Company and Technical Presentations, which are short, detailed presentations by a senior level executive or academic to showcase technology development or partnership opportunities.

The deadline for submitting proposals for Company and Technical Presentations, GreenTech Investor Sessions, or Poster Presentations is May 14, 2018 at 5:00pm EST.
