The 8th Offshore Mariculture Conference was held in association with the U.S. Soybean Export Council, USSEC, in Singapore, from May 15 - 17, 2018. This year\'s conference was the inaugural edition of Offshore Mariculture is Asia.

The conference consisted of two days of technical presentations and panel discussions from high level experienced operators in the sector. On the last day, participants were given a choice for a technical visit at one of two operating farms: Barramundi Asia or The AVA Marine Aquaculture Centre hatchery, both of which provided delegates with an insight into their inner workings.

Organized by Mercator Media Limited and the publishers of World Fishing and Aquaculture, the conference covered the latest legislation, investment and financing opportunities together with the day to day practicalities of running an offshore business.

Attendees who were unable to see the complete range of presentations and papers produced by event speakers are invited to download the conference proceedings for free from the conference website starting tomorrow. The proceedings are also available for purchase for those who did not attend the conference.
