Asian-Pacific Aquaculture 2016 will see the giants of world aquaculture gather to discuss the profitability, sustainability and responsibility of the sector.

The Asia- Pacific region is the highest in terms of aquaculture production and long term profitability cannot be guaranteed without being responsible for the environment or caring about sustainability. In the past 5 years, Indonesia has increased its own production by 50%, with only a 20% increase in area.

Hosted by the Ministry of Marine Affairs & Fisheries (MMAF), APA 2016 will be held at Grand City, Surabaya, Indonesia.

The event includes Asia Pacific Aquaculture 2016, IndoAqua 2016, FITA 2016 and International Symposium on Tilapia (ISTA) 2016. A special industry session to discuss the latest applied technologies for Indonesian aquaculture producers will also be held.

APA 2016 offers exceptional prospects for academics as well as aquaculture experts to enhance and share their knowledge, widen their networks, and expand their vision.
