The Global Aquaculture Alliance, the leading standards-setting organization for aquaculture seafood, invites representatives of aquaculture producers and processing plants, members of industry associations and government officials to attend a free "BAP Standards for Vietnamese Seafood Enterprises" seminar on June 29 in Can Tho City, Vietnam.
 
Co-sponsored by the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers, the 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. event will be held at Cuu Long Hotel, 52 Quang Trung Street, in the Ninh Kieu District of Can Tho City, Vietnam.
 
The seminar will feature guest speaker representatives of the United States government, a U.S.-based seafood buyer and VASEP. Attendees will learn the benefits of certification in Vietnam and what global trends are driving demand for certification. An overview of the Best Aquaculture Practices standards and international certification program will also be included.
