Shanghai to host next BAP Auditor Training Course

The next BAP Auditor and Industry Observer Training Course will be held in Shanghai, China, from April 2 to 8, 2017. The course will cover all of the BAP standards, including the seafood processing plant standards, finfish and crustacean farm standards (includes land-based aquaculture systems such as ponds and fresh/brackish water cage farms and marine cage farms), mollusk farm standards, feed mill standards, and finfish, crustacean and mollusk hatchery/nursery standards.

The Global Aquaculture Alliance’s Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) division invites new auditor candidates and returning auditors requiring refresher training to attend a BAP auditor training course in Shanghai, China, from April 2 to 8, 2017.

The course is also open to industry observers, including government officials, producers and other industry stakeholders who wish to learn more about the BAP certification standards and the auditing process.

The course will cover all of the BAP standards, including the seafood processing plant standards, finfish and crustacean farm standards (includes land-based aquaculture systems such as ponds and fresh/brackish water cage farms and marine cage farms), mollusk farm standards, feed mill standards, and finfish, crustacean and mollusk hatchery/nursery standards.

The registration deadline is March 10.

The course is being held at New World Hotel Shanghai in Changning District.
