USA - Federal officials to discuss imports/exports at AFIA December event

Time is running out to register at a discounted early-bird registration rate for the American Feed Industry Association\'s 2014 Import/Export Seminar. The conference, set to take place in Arlington, Va., December 9-10, will focus on regulatory and policy trade requirements and updates for feed, feed ingredients and pet food. The early-bird registration runs until November 10. 

The seminar will offer an array of speakers from the federal government including the Office of the United States Trade Representative, the U.S. Department of Agriculture\'s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service and Foreign Agriculture Service, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to address current feed industry trade constraints. FAS Administrator Phil Karsting will keynote the event speaking about \"Linking U.S. Agriculture to the World.\"
