Grobest Group named Ko Chi-Kang as chairman of its board of directors. Ko, co-founder and chief scientific officer of Grobest Group, succeeds Chen Chun-ping, who recently retired after serving as chairman for the past nine years. Ko will contribute to the continued growth and success of the Grobest Group.

Ko Chi-Kang has devoted his entire life to the study of the ocean and pioneered the development of relevant industries. He was the co-founder and CEO of Ye Cherng Industrial before forming a joint venture company with Permira. “I am deeply honored to have been appointed as the chairman of Grobest Group’s board of directors,” said Ko. “I look forward to working with Grobest and the executive team to spearhead the group’s strategy and ensure that it continues to create significant values for all stakeholders.”
