AQA Conference 2009 program now available online

World Trade Exhibitions, the organisers of the AQA Conference 2009 has announced that the full program has now been released. The Conference will take place on the 18th September 2009 at the IFEVI Exhibition Centre, Vigo, Spain, alongside the AQA 2009 Exhibition and WFE Vigo'09.

The Conference speakers are all key industry figures and include: Dr Selina Stead, President of the European Aquaculture Society, Gustavo Larrazábal, President of Tinamenor Group, Spain and Chairman, European Aquaculture Technology and Innovation Platform, Jean-Claude Cueff, Head of Unit, Aquaculture, DG MARE, European Commission, John Dallimore, Operations Director, TNC Partners, Hamburg, and Gema Chicharro Santos, Studies & Research, Agroseguro, Spain.

Entitled 'Marine aquaculture - the 21st century challenge for world fishing' the AQA Conference will focus on the trend to switch from wild capture fisheries to marine aquaculture. The organizers said it is a must-attend event for small to medium sized fleet owners looking to expand into this fast growing sector, together with recently established marine aquaculture farm operators and anyone wanting an update on the latest technology, services and practices.

The AQA Conference is supported by the European Aquaculture Society (EAS), the Spanish Marine Fish Farmers Association (APROMAR) and the Spanish Aquaculture Society (SEA). The Conference will conclude with a networking drinks reception after which delegates will be able to visit AQA 2009 Exhibition and WFE Exhibition.
