Knut Nesse to step down as CEO of Nutreco, Rob Koremans to succeed him

Nutreco has announced that CEO Knut Nesse will leave the company on October 1, 2018, and that Rob Koremans will join Nutreco and take over as CEO upon Mr. Nesse\'s departure. “It’s been fantastic to work in the growing agriculture and aquaculture industries and a real pleasure to work with so many great people across the company. I wish everyone in Nutreco all the best for the future.”

After leading the company for the past six years, Mr. Nesse has decided to move back to Norway with his family. His career at Nutreco has spanned more than 23 years, and under his leadership, the company has a solid foundation for growth and a clear strategic direction for the coming years.

Dr. Koremans is a Doctor of Medicine from RSM Erasmus University, the Netherlands, and has an MBA from Babson College, USA. Over the past 30 years, he has held different managerial and executive roles, mainly in the pharmaceutical industry including Serono (part of the Merck Group), Grünenthal and Sanofi-Aventis in The Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic and Switzerland. He was most recently President and CEO Global Specialty Medicines and a member of the Executive Committee at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.
