This course will provide the latest research novelties using fish as an experimental model and its applications in aquaculture. The program includes:

Basics on Aquaculture, Ivan Viegas.
What is Metabolism?, John Jones.
Voluntary feed intake and metabolic fuel utilization in cultured fish: the impact of rearing factors, Leonardo Magnoni.
Nutritional programming to improve dietary carbohydrate use in carnivorous fish, Stéphane Panserat.
The use of stable isotopes for studies in fish metabolism, Ivan Viegas and John Jones.
