Organized by the Aquaculture UK team, the Aquaculture Awards 2019 recognize the achievements in different elements of the sector and give due recognition to those making an exceptional contribution to the industry, now and in the future. They are open to everyone involved in the global aquaculture industry, no matter how large or small.

In addition to these categories decided by a judging panel, there will be an opportunity for the aquaculture industry to recognize the most inspiring and innovative of all the nominees via People’s Choice award. The nominees are:

- Gorka Ahedo, Open Blue, Panama
- Nathan Pyne-Carter, Ace Aquatec Ltd, UK
- Richard Darbyshire, Orkney area manager, Scottish Sea Farms, UK
Vote here for People’s Choice award. Voting will close on May 28. The winner will be announced at the Aquaculture Awards presentation on May 29.
