National Workshop on the Development of Improved On-Farm Shrimp Feed Management Practices - Philippines

The workshop will be devoted to a series of lectures and discussions that will be delivered primarily by Dr. Albert GJ Tacon and invited speakers. It will focus on practical aspects of on-farm shrimp feed management, and in particular on how existing on-farm feed management practices within the target countries of the project can be further improved so as to reduce shrimp production costs to the shrimp farmers as well as future directions of shrimp nutrition & feed development in the Philippines.

The workshop will be devoted to a series of lectures and discussions that will be delivered primarily by Dr. Albert GJ Tacon and invited speakers. It will focus on practical aspects of on-farm shrimp feed management, and in particular on how existing on-farm feed management practices within the target countries of the project can be further improved so as to reduce shrimp production costs to the shrimp farmers as well as future directions of shrimp nutrition & feed development in the Philippines.

The workshop is hosted by USAID Maximizing Agricultural Revenue through Enterprise and Development (MARKET) Project. The USAID - MARKET promotes more sustainable and efficient use of aquaculture and fishery resources in ASEAN, with one key initiative is to promote the use of better feed and feeding practices.
