Aller Aqua introduces new diet to increase seabream coloration

Wednesday, May 26, 2021

Aller Aqua introduced a new seabream diet, ALLER LUCET, that increases both coloration and nutritional content. Farmed seabream often lacks the deep and appealing colors of wild seabream, but ALLER LUCET can help bring them out. Paired with added omega-3 fatty acids, the deeper coloration increases the fish’ overall consumer appeal and nutritional value, in turn making them more appealing to consumers.

“Wild seabream feed on a large variety of things which creates the deeper coloration. However, while the farmed diet is optimized for health and growth, the lesser variety makes for a lighter-colored fish. Naturally derived raw materials in the farmed seabream diet can however change this, enhancing the coloration and adding nutritional value,” the company said.

Lucet is the Latin word for “shining” and Aller Aqua’s latest addition to its product portfolio. ALLER LUCET is a finisher feed and is recommended for use at least ten weeks before harvest for maximum effect. The feed was enhanced with naturally derived raw materials getting fish ready for harvest in optimum condition.
