On Tuesday, April 1, the formation of the Solae Company, LLC was announced as a joint venture between Bunge’s Central Soya and Brazil-based
specialty food ingredients operations and DuPont Protein Technologies.

Solae, LLC will offer customers, around the globe, specialty food and feed ingredients. Specifically, Solae will provide textured vegetable proteins,
specialty soy protein concentrates and soy protein isolates, as well as lecithins.

With manufacturing operations in four major regions (North America, South America, Europe, Asia) and six technical centers, Solae offers
knowledgeable staff, customer support and technical capabilities.

No immediate changes have occurred with technical, sales or customer service support. The people with whom you have worked remain available to address any questions and provide you seamless service as Solae comes firmly into place.

The Solae Company debuts as one of the world’s premier developers and marketers of branded, plant-based, specialty food, feed, and industrial ingredients. Initially, the company’s annual revenues are expected to exceed $800 million.
