Abstract submission opens for Gill Health Initiative

The 2020’s Gill Health Initiative meeting will be held at the University of Stirling from April 1 – 2, 2020. Abstracts are now being accepted including nutrition solutions.

The 2020’s Gill Health Initiative meeting will be held at the University of Stirling from April 1 – 2, 2020. The event is supported by the Scottish Aquaculture Innovation Centre (SAIC) and the Norwegian Seafood Research Fund (FHF).

Gill health is a major issue across the aquaculture industry and could have an adverse effect on the industry sustainability. The Gill Health Initiative (GHI) was formed in a bid to bring together industry and researchers to streamline research efforts across Norway, Scotland, Ireland and Australia.

Abstracts are now being accepted for the following topics:

  • Integrated health management
  • Genetics
  • Immunology and vaccines
  • Epidemiology
  • Nutrition

Abstract based on any other topic relevant to gill health can also be submitted. More information here.
