Nicovita presented its integral solutions at Conacua

Through talks, meetings and different activities, the company presented its innovative portfolio.

Nicovita, a company of the Vitapro group, attended the Shrimp Aquaculture Congress – Conacua - that was held in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico. This event brought together more than 600 people, producers and suppliers from 11 states of Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, USA, Colombia, Honduras, Guatemala, Spain, Thailand and China.

Carlos Crespo Peralta, head of technical advisory of the Guayas-Manabí Region, presented a talk about management strategies in the Ecuadorian shrimp sector. Crespo summarized his more than 30 years of experience in shrimp farms management. “We are very satisfied with our participation since these types of activities consolidate the position of Nicovita as a leading brand in balanced aquafeed in Latin America. We focus on the clients needs to develop comprehensive solutions that maximize the results of their business and profitability,” said Crespo.

Nicovita also held multiple meetings in its stand where the company's innovative portfolio was shown. Moreover, different activities were carried out with clients where knowledge and good practices were shared. “We are committed to transforming the future of aquaculture, which is why we focus on transmitting and co-creating knowledge together with our clients to constantly reinvent ourselves,” emphasized Wagner Vargas, director of technical advice.

In 2018, Nicovita increased its Mexican market 140%. In 2019, an 6.9% increase is expected to close the year with 621,000 tons.
