The 2nd International Carp Conference organized by Aller Aqua and Inland Fisheries Institute will be held in Wroclaw, Poland, September 12-13, 2013. The conference program will be based on two main themes:

The first theme is carp farming in European aquaculture. The EU have recently introduced strategic plans which could concern the carp farming culture. At the same time carp farming strategies have been developed in many European countries. The objective of this part of the conference is to find common interpretation for those documents and to take the first step in defining the common directions of carp farming development.

The second theme will be EU funding for aquaculture 2014-2020 and its implementation in the future of carp farming. It is a really important and delicate topic on the eve of its enforcement in all EU countries.

The participation of the International Forum of Carp Farmers, associations, organizations and government representatives will provide a unique chance to get first hand information about opportunities and threats for carp farming in EU, and for taking part in creating a good atmosphere for this kind of aquaculture in Europe.

The 2nd International Carp Conference 2013 is a pioneer project. All carp farmers will benefit from helping make this event a truly international one. Aller Aqua invites and encourage all carp farmers, representatives of farmers associations, national and international administration, veterinary services as well as scientists to get involved in this conference.
