AFIA’s Technical Symposium is Back
AFIA has announced a new addition to its educational program line-up. On Nov. 13, 2008, from 1 to 3 p.m. (EST), AFIA is offering a webcast technical symposium called “From Your Floor To Their Door-Understanding The Trade Maze.”
Dr. Joyce Bowling, assistant director of the National Center for Import and Export at the Agriculture Department's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, USDA/APHIS, will lead a discussion on international trade, exports of animal products, methodology and current trade requirements and guidelines with China, Mexico and Canada.
After the broadcast, each registered participant will receive a copy of the webcast in CD format. Questions may be submitted by the participants before, during or after the webcast. This webcast will be approximately two hours in length, including a question-and-answer session.
