AUSTRALIA - Skretting World Aquaculture Adelaide 2014 abstract submission deadline extended to December 15, 2013

Skretting Australia is to be the naming sponsor of the World Aquaculture Adelaide conference.

South Australia is hosting World Aquaculture for the first time in this continent since 1999. This annual event organized by the World Aquaculture Society incorporates the biennial Australasian Aquaculture Conference and Trade Show in a joint arrangement with National Aquaculture Council. Skretting World Aquaculture Adelaide is an opportunity for the international aquaculture community to present their research, exchange ideas and discuss a vision for the future of the aquaculture industry as they focus on the theme of ‘Create, Nurture, Grow’, reflecting the dynamic nature of aquaculture development in the region.

The deadline for submission of abstracts for World Aquaculture Adelaide 2014 has been extended to December 15, 2013.

Contributions are invited to this significant international event to be held in Adelaide, June 7-11, 2014, to engage with the theme Create, Nurture and Grow.

The comprehensive list of program topics covers production systems, aquatic animal health, ecology and environment, nutrition, economics and social sciences, and key aquaculture species including, Salmon, Tuna, Oysters, Shrimp/Prawns, Pearls, Barramundi, and Abalone, and much more.
