Don’t Miss AFIA's Purchasing and Ingredient Suppliers Conference
The economy may not be consistent but one thing that is, is that AFIA will deliver a highly anticipated and top-rated Purchasing and Ingredient Suppliers Conference (PISC) in Destin, Fla. on March 11-13, 2009. As usual, PISC will be held in conjunction with the Spring Forum, March 9-11, 2009 at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort this time.
What makes this conference such an industry resource is it's the only event of its kind designed to address the procurement needs of those in the animal feed and pet food industry. PISC provides an opportunity for attendees to gain valuable information about the latest issues affecting the feed industry, and also meet with key decision-makers. The 2009 PISC also celebrates the past 100 years of AFIA and looks to the future to determine what will be necessary to make the United States feed industry successful for the next century. This year PISC has multiple attractions: educational events, networking, a golf tournament and a special Centennial Celebration luncheon held prior to the opening of the conference on March 11, 2009. Fees for advanced registration received by Feb. 18, 2009 are $599 for AFIA members and $2,025 for non-members. The spouse fee is $244 (registration is required to attend any conference function). Afterwards there will only be on-site registration at a higher price.
Conference attendees are responsible for their own hotel reservations. AFIA has secured a block of rooms at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.
