In cooperation with the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA), Kansas State University (K-State)will be holding the short course Establishing a HACCP Program for the Feed Industry,  April 1-4, 2013, in Manhattan, Kansas, USA. This interactive course is open to all sectors of the feed industry.

The Department of Grain Science and Industry at K-State, in partnership with AFIA has held Feed Manufacturing Short Courses since 1976. These courses are taught by a unique blend of individuals from K-State and within the feed and allied industries and provide in-depth training on all aspects associated with feed manufacturing.

Class size is limited to 30 participants, so early registration is suggested. The last several courses have sold out.

This is an interactive course that focuses on the development of a Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) plan for all sectors of the feed industry, including feed mill managers, quality assurance personnel and ingredient suppliers.

The $525 course fee includes all course materials, lunches, refreshments and one dinner. The registration deadline is March 22, 2013.
