Latin American & Caribbean Aquaculture, LACQUA 2019, will be held in San José, Costa Rica, from November 20-22. Besides the trade fair and conferences, the event offers a tour to producing farms that includes:

• Truchas Reales, located in San Gerardo de Dota. This company is mainly engaged in aquaculture production, positioning itself as one of the largest producers of trout in Central America. Its primary objective has always been to offer the consumer safe and high-quality products. The product of the company Truchas Reales de Costa Rica S.A. has been awarded for its high standards of quality, texture, freshness and flavor. It is one of the largest trout projects in Central America.
• Martec, located in Quepos, approximately 3 hours from San José, is an open sea farm located 8 miles from Quepos. All year round it boast of clean and warm water with stable temperatures on the central Pacific coast of Costa Rica. The company also has 3x5 kilometers of concession area for snapper farming.
