A special producer session is being planned with the National Aquaculture Association on Advances and Outlook for Organic Aquaculture from Policies to Market.
There has been considerable progress on advancing public rulemaking by the USDA as well as new developments in Canada and actions by various industry sectors.
A couple more companies with an interest in organic aquaculture production are being sought to participate in a producer panel. If you are interested, please contact George Lockwood at your earliest convenience.
After several years there will be an official (Mark Bradley) from the National Organic Program of USDA at the conference. A NOAWG meeting is also being planned and it id hoped that aMax Holtzman from the Secretary’s Office can attend as he has the past several years.
