With the COVID-19 pandemic's global affect, the WAS organizers suggested that some changes can the expected in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, this is an update of the scheduled ones:

Aquaculture Canada and WAS North America 2020, St. John’s Newfoundland, Canada from August 30 - September 2. The World Aquaculture Society and the Aquaculture Association of Canada (AAC) and Newfoundland Aquaculture Industry Association (NAIA) will co-host this world-class, international event, sure to become the largest aquaculture conference and trade show in Canadian history. Latin America & Caribbean Aquaculture 2020, Guayaquil, Ecuador from September 7-10. LACQUA20 will take place in Guayaquil, Ecuador from September 7-10 with the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral – ESPOL as a partner that will organize the XXI Ecuadorian Aquaculture Congress (CEA2020) jointly with LACQUA2020. Aquaculture Europe 2020, Cork, Ireland from September 29 - October 2. The annual meeting organized by the European Aquaculture Society will go ahead as planned. The organization is in contact with the Irish Health Authorities concerning any risk to the event caused by COVID-19 and will take action if and when we are advised or required by the Irish government.

Abstract submission for oral and E-poster presentations is now open at aquaeas.org. Given the current status at many universities and research organizations, the deadline was extended from May 1 to June 1 to give you more time.

Aquaculture Africa 2020, Alexandria, Egypt from November 28 - December 1. The African Chapter of World Aquaculture Society will hold its first international conference and exhibition “Aquaculture Africa 2020” in the Bibliotheca, Alexandria, Egypt.
