USSEC held a seminar and coordination meeting with government bodies and aqua feedmills in Indonesia. About 45 people attended the seminar, which highlighted the importance of improved national standards for all types of feeds.

Pamudi, USSEC Technical Manager in Indonesia, provided input to the development of effective and efficient feed, including updates on aquafeed databases’ development.

The development of effective and efficient feed would stimulate aquaculture intensification, sustainability and profitability of aquaculture production whilst, on the other side, building more soybean demand/preference for aquafeed.
