World Tilapia Conference, September 16 - 18th, 2013 -Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

INFOPESCA, and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Brazilian Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture (MPA) and the Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro, are organizing the World Tilapia Conference. Market analysts with wide experience and representatives from the production and trade sector will give presentations on the main issues and recent developments for the global tilapia market.

INFOPESCA, and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Brazilian Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture (MPA) and the Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro, are organizing the World Tilapia Conference. Market analysts with wide experience and representatives from the production and trade sector will give presentations on the main issues and recent developments for the global tilapia market. This event aims to continue the line of work from the World Tilapia Conference that took place in Kuala Lumpur in 2010, organized by INFOFISH. An exhibit of the sector will take place simultaneously.

The event will take place in the city of Rio de Janeiro, September 16 - 18th, 2013 in the Conference Room of the Navy War School (Escola de Guerra Naval).
