The Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) and Iman Insani Sdn Bhd signed a licensing and commercialization agreement to market and distribute a “Biogenic Fish Feed” developed by Dr. Mohammad Bodrul Munir of the Faculty of Resource Science and Technology, according to local news.
This new fish feed will assist the fish industry in Malaysia by reducing the costs of fish feed as farmers are currently relying on imported fish feed from Vietnam, Thailand and Japan. The product will help maintain the price of fish at an affordable level and provide employment opportunities.
