Chinese shrimp giant Zhanjiang Guolian Aquatic Products entered an agreement to build a $282 million offshore aquaculture project in Xuwen, China. The investment includes deep-water cages, breeding and hatchery facilities, feed mills, processing and research centers.
The project is backed by the government of Xuwen country and it is still in its early stages.
