Ernst & Young awards Erich ERBER as Entrepreneur Of The Year finalist

Erich Erber, chairman of the Executive Boards of Erber Holding and Biomin was honored with one of the world’s most prestigious business awards for building and leading a successful, growing and dynamic business.

Austria’s top entrepreneurs were honored in Vienna in mid-October with the title of “Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year”, one of the world’s most prestigious business awards.

An independent judging panel has selected Erich ERBER to be among this group of outstanding entrepreneurs, in recognition of his 27 years of contribution to the field of animal nutrition. Erber’s dedication and foresight has led to numerous innovative and trend-setting solutions for animal production, with a successful business spanning over 100 countries worldwide and more than 850 employees.

“I feel honored and proud to receive this outstanding award on behalf of all those who have helped to make our Erber Group a success story since our beginnings as a small start-up in 1983. Today, we are active in all five continents and at any given time, there is someone working to fulfill our vision and promise – to ensure safe food from stable to table – to our customers and consumers. Success to me is the feel-good factor of achievement, and today I have to say that I feel very good for myself,” said Erich Erber.

This unique award encourages the entrepreneurial spirit among those with potential, and recognizes the contribution of those who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement.

A global program, the “Entrepreneur Of The Year” recognizes the achievements of business leaders around the world in 135 cities across 50 countries.
