JWAS releases Special Virtual Issue to celebrate LAQUA17

To celebrate the opening of the WAS Latin American & Caribbean Aquaculture 2017 Conference in Mazatlan, Mexico, November 7-10, 2017, the Journal of the World Aquaculture Society (JWAS) has compiled a Special Virtual Issue of papers with a Focus on Aquaculture Research in Latin America that highlights aquaculture research in the Latin American & Caribbean Region. Three of the eight papers are related to feed and feed ingredients.

To celebrate the opening of the WAS Latin American & Caribbean Aquaculture 2017 Conference in Mazatlan, Mexico, November 7-10, 2017, the Journal of the World Aquaculture Society (JWAS) has compiled a Special Virtual Issue of papers with a Focus on Aquaculture Research in Latin America that highlights aquaculture research in the Latin American & Caribbean Region.

The following papers are included in the Issue:

  • Evaluating the Effects of a Short-Term Feed Restriction Period on the Behavior and Welfare of Atlantic Salmon, Salmo salar, Parr Using Social Network Analysis and Fin Damage
  • Evaluation of Potential Feed Ingredients for the Juvenile Four-sided Sea Cucumber, Isostichopus badionotus
  • Survival and Growth Improvement of Palm Ruff, Seriolella violacea, Larvae Fed Artemia Nauplii Enriched with an Experimental Emulsion
