NEPAL - DPM lays foundation stone for fish feed industry in Ratnanagar

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara laid the foundation stone for construction of a community fish feed industry in Ratnanagar of Chitwan district. The construction of the industry will be completed within a year. The industry will be equipped with the capability of producing 5 tons of feed per hour.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara today laid the foundation stone for construction of a community fish feed industry in Ratnanagar of Chitwan district.

On the occasion, the minister was briefed on the diverse aspects of the fish feed industry. Chitwan Community Fish Feed Industry Pvt Chairman Ambika Prasad Adhikari said the feed industry was set up as part of the government’s ‘One District One Production’ programme.

He also drew the attention of Minister Mahara to the Rs 25 million in due that the government had promised.

The construction of the industry will be completed within a year. The industry will be equipped with the capability of producing 5 tons of feed per hour, according to Ratnanagar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Chair Gyan Bahadur Bisural.
