New MD for EWOS Innovation
Dr. Adel El-Mowafi has recently been appointed as the new Managing Director for EWOS Innovation, taking over from Dr. Per Olav Skjervold who has moved on to a new role with the Norwegian Research Council. With 23 years experience in animal and fish nutrition research in both academic and industrial environments on 3 different continents, Dr. El-Mowafi is well prepared for the challenge!
In the last seven years Dr. El-Mowafi has worked in the fish research area with EWOS Innovation as a Senior Scientist, then as an R&D Manager where he gained excellent experience and played an important part in creating knowledge to produce healthy seafood in a more efficient and environmentally sustainable way. He also holds an honorary position as adjunct professor at the Department of Plant and Animal Science, Nova Scotia Agricultural college in Canada.
