Since its introduction in China, the Novus Graduate Scholars Program (NGS) has been held for 11 years by Novus International, Inc.; this year\'s launch is set for March 20 at Sichuan Agriculture University. Over the last decade, millions of dollars have been invested in the program\'s individuals and activities.  The program is now targeting the nine greatest agricultural universities in China. Every year, 33 young talents win scholarships and the best nine of those gain the opportunity to intern with Novus, which focuses on science practice in the Novus Research & Development Center in the United States. So far, 363 students have won the scholarships and 99 of them have participated in the internship program.

This informative event is open to students and will be the first step in the process. Applications opened to students on March 8, and NGS candidates will be selected by August.

At the event, Dr. Mercedes Vázquez-Añón, the Senior Director of Animal Nutrition Research and Facilities for Novus International, will meet graduates at their schools and give a presentation on a Novus gut health study and its progress. Also, Dr. Juxing Chen, Structural Functional Biology Manager for Novus, will give a speech on the meat quality challenges and study progress with broilers. These technical speeches direct from the researchers, however, are not the only highlights. Novus will also extend the topics to provide students with more information on the wider animal husbandry industry as well.
