Peru Authorizes Exploratory Fishing for Anchovy
According to the Ministerial Resolution No 078-2006-PRODUCE an Exploratory Fishing has been authorised for anchovy and white anchovy, as from 24:00 hours of the 27th March until 00:00 hours of the 5th April 2006.
This will take place between the northern stretches of Peruvian waters and 16o00'00" (Chala, Arequipa) Latitude South, with the exception of the delimited areas between parallels 06o00'01" (Punta Aguja, Piura) and 06o59'59" (Pimentel, Lambayeque) Latitude South and parallels 13o00'01" (Asia, Lima) and 13o59'59" (between Pisco and Bahia Independencia, Ica) Latitude South.
Processing of the anchovy may continue until 24:00 hours of the 5th April 2006.
