The Government of Peru has announced that fishing can begin on April 3rd for a period of 15 days for "exploratory" fishing. Unless the fishing comes up with immature fish or some other reason to continue the ban, it certainly looks like we will have new crop fishmeal very shortly. "Now we will see what happens to prices - no sudden drop is currently expected", Wayne Bacon of Hammersmith Marketing says.
