Integrated Aquaculture International (IAI), a technology company dedicated to improving the efficiency and sustainability of aquaculture, has announced additions to its team of experts.

Dr KERRY CLAYDON has recently joined IAI as the Director of Aquatic Animal Health.

Kerry obtained her Doctoral degree in Microbiology from James Cook University in Queensland, Australia. Her PhD research specialization was crustacean cell culture. She is experienced in immunohistochemistry, histopathology, DNA extraction and sequencing, viral isolation and purification and real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Kerry will be managing the Aquatic Animal Health Laboratory in IAI’s joint project with the Department of Fisheries (DOF) of Brunei Darussalam to produce Specific Pathogen Free lines of shrimp.

Dr A. VICTOR SURESH has recently joined IAI as the Director of Nutrition and Feeds.

Victor received his Bachelor, Master and PhD degrees in fisheries and aquaculture from India, Thailand the USA, respectively. He has 11 years experience in the global aqua feed industry in commercial feed formulation, product development, technical service, research program management and new business start up. Victor will be based in his home country, India, and traveling internationally to support IAI’s clients in Asia, Europe and Latin America.

Drs. Claydon and Suresh will participate in the International Shrimp Health Workshop organized by IAI and DOF in Brunei Darussalam on August 13-15.
