With the aim of having the best professionals working in Vitapro, the company started with a new trainee plan in Ecuador to provide talent and train to young professionals in the core areas of the company (Technical Advisory and Feed Technology), to nurture the organization with new ideas and generate innovation from the bottom up.
The HR Manager of Vitapro in Ecuador, Gianfranco Dellepiani, said that the idea is to have the best professionals to offer a service of excellence to the company's customers. "In one hand, we work with selection partners that attract talent from different industries to be part of our teams. We also have the Opportunities Vitapro Program, in which we offer our collaborators the possibility to apply and develop professionally within the company, and there is also the link that we maintain and seek to actively strengthen with the academic community,” Dellepiani said.
The program focuses specifically on the search for young professionals who have had a maximum of 1 year of experience (not necessarily in the aquaculture feed industry), with academic training in Aquaculture, Biology, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries Engineering, Agribusiness, Agribusiness and related industries. This project is carried out through the Learning by Doing methodology. In this way, theoretical learning is subsequently applied to reality in technical visits to farms. This program is 80% in Ecuador and 20% in Peru, where professionals have the opportunity to get to know the Aquaculture Experimental Center, CEA, and the Vitapro - Nicovita plant in Trujillo, Perú.
Dellepiani also said that the trainees have a mentor, in order to strengthen and increase the level of adaptation to the company, as well as to facilitate the understanding of the reality of the business and other areas, in this way we ensure an integral accompaniment.
