White spot outbreak at Saudi Arabian shrimp farm
The Office International des Épizooties (OIE) has reported an outbreak of White spot disease at a shrimp farm in Ras Attarfa, Sebiya, Jizan, Saudi Arabia.
The outbreak affected adult female shrimp (Penaeus indicus - Pandaloidea) in a closed, semi-intensive production system. All the animals have been destroyed. Full OIE report.
