The French aquaculture industry had a total revenue of $866.5 million in 2010, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.9% for the period spanning 2006-2010. Industry production volumes decreased with a CARC of -2.1% between 2006 and 2010, to reach a total of 218.9 thousand tons in 2010, a new report, Aquaculture in France - Industry and Country Analysis, shows.

The performance of the industry is forecast to decelerate, with an anticipated CAGR of 2.5% for the five-year period 2010-2015, which is expected to drive the industry to a value of $982.6 million by the end of 2015.
