Aker BioMarine named Christina Ianssen as manager of sustainability and public affairs. Perceiving Aker BioMarine as an innovative company, Ianssen is looking forward to making her mark and helping to lead initiatives in which she can make a positive difference. Since starting at Aker BioMarine, she has already been involved in several ambitious projects within Aker BioMarine’s supply chain. Her background in environmental policy and regulatory, combined with solid experience of technological innovation in industrial sectors like maritime and green build, brings great value to the company.

“We are thrilled to have Christina on board to help strengthen our Sustainability and Public Affairs team,” said Runa Haug Khoury, director sustainability and public affairs, Aker BioMarine. “Sustainability has been an integral part of our business from day one and we are constantly looking at our efforts and ways to improve each and every day. Ianssen comes from the position as senior advisor for the environmental foundation Bellona. Prior to that, she worked for Sterling PBES, an energy solution provider for the maritime industry. “It’s the opportunity of a lifetime for me to work in the sustainability department at a company that shares my values,” said Ianssen.
