Thiago Hamberland has been appointed as the manager Scheme & Services for GMP+ International.
In this new role, he will oversee the strategic direction and execution of the world’s largest certification scheme for safe and sustainable animal feed, as well as related support services. He brings 13 years’ experience in the food and feed sectors, including 10 years with GMP+ International, most recently managing the GMP+ FC scheme.
“I’m honored to join the management team at GMP+ International. My journey with the GMP+ FC scheme has taken me across the globe, working not only on certification but also on the practical implementation of its requirements. This has given me firsthand insight into the challenges, bottlenecks, and opportunities companies face throughout the feed supply chain. I look forward to helping extend the reach of feed safety and sustainability worldwide, taking the next step in the scheme’s development, not just to prepare for the future, but to shape it,” Thiago said.
He continued, “While we continue to innovate, we remain deeply committed to the trust, history, and strong market position that GMP+ has earned over the years. And most importantly, I’m excited to do this together with the GMP+ staff and our global community, whose dedication and expertise are the foundation of everything we achieve.”
Martine Boon, GMP+ International Managing Director, said that “Thiago has passion and commitment for feed safety and sustainability. He will play a crucial role in maintaining our market-leading certification scheme and ensuring we continue to innovate and remain fit for purpose into the future.”
