New hires bring a combined 51 years of industry experience to customers. 

Lallemand Animal Nutrition expands technical support, sales teams

Lallemand Animal Nutrition expanded the reach of its technical support and sales teams with the addition of six people. The new employees will support the company’s prominent microbial solutions such as MAGNIVA® Forage Inoculants, LEVUCELL® SC and LEVUCELL® SB.

Tricia Wood

Tricia Wood, ruminant technical services, brings more than 15 years of experience in animal health and nutrition to Lallemand Animal Nutrition. She was raised on a farrow-to-finish swine farm, which inspired her to earn a bachelor's degree in animal science and a doctorate in animal physiology from Iowa State University. In graduate school, Wood began researching the role of prebiotics and probiotics in supporting the immune system of dairy calves. Since graduating, she helped develop feed additive products for improving calf health and performance.   

Megan Kludt

Megan Kludt, field support specialist supporting the Midwest, brings a wide range of experiences to Lallemand Animal Nutrition, including work in university extension and time as a dairy herdsman. She has a bachelor’s degree in dairy production and agricultural education from South Dakota State University, where she also was a student-athlete on the track team.

Makayla Linville

Makayla Linville, field support specialist supporting the Southwest, brings years of experience with dairy forage management. She spent three years at the Royal and Noble Dairy in Garden City, Kan., inspecting and sampling forages. Linville holds an associate degree from Garden City Community College, where she was on the national meat judging team, and a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Tarleton State University in Stephensville, Texas, where she also participated in meat judging.

Maddison Degenshein

Maddison Degenshein, territory business manager in N. California, Oregon and Washington, recently completed her master’s degree at the University of Alberta after finishing her bachelor's degree at the University of Idaho. During her graduate work, she helped develop a bovine-derived probiotic and completed four research trials.

Carrie Feucht

Carrie Feucht, PAS, Territory Business Manager, Midwest, comes to Lallemand Animal Nutrition after three years as a technical sales manager working directly with nutritionists and feed mills. She also worked as a livestock production specialist, where Feucht was focused on nutrition and feed sales. She was raised on a family farm and has been active in the Wisconsin dairy industry through 4-H, FFA and Junior Holstein Association.

Joe Wayman

Joe Wayman, business development manager, Pet, spent the last five years providing animal health consulting services to the U.S. and international companies in both the veterinary and retail consumer space. He previously worked as director of sales and pet product development for Lifes2good and as director of North American veterinary sales for Royal Canin. Wayman also brings product development and marketing experience in human biologics and pharmaceuticals.
