Two and a half years after its acquisition by Adisseo, Nor-Feed reaffirms its commitment to breakthrough botanical solutions, aligned with the Adisseo Group’s global strategy.

Headquartered in the Angers Technopole (France), Nor-Feed has built strong expertise in the sourcing, characterization, and standardization of specific active plant-derived molecules. These are designed to reduce reliance on antibiotics, coccidiostats, and pesticides—an objective that drove Adisseo’s strategic investment in 2023. This acquisition marked a significant step in Adisseo’s mission to develop species-specific solutions that simultaneously enhance productivity and sustainability.

Now fully integrated into the Adisseo Group, Nor-Feed remains focused on botanical-based solutions primarily for swine and poultry. The company is concentrating its efforts on addressing oxidative stress, coccidiosis, and specific parasitic challenges.

Collaborative R&D, industrial, and commercial projects are already underway to leverage synergies between Nor-Feed’s innovations and Adisseo’s expertise—delivering comprehensive, value-added solutions to animal producers worldwide.

Sebastian Marten, Adisseo executive director for Specialties, said in a press release that “the demand for botanical additives is strong on the strategic market segments Adisseo targets, the growth potential remains considerable, and all the teams are now well connected and aligned to meet our customers' expectations.”

Olivier Clech, CEO of Nor-Feed, added, “We are enthusiastic to extract significant value from working as part of the Adisseo family. The many synergies we work on will further accelerate our growth in the years to come.”
