Thailand ceases US shipments of DDG

US exports of DDG to Thailand has been stopped due to new fumigation requirements.

New fumigation requirements were imposed after beetles were detected in a shipment in 2018. US traders use phosphine to fumigate but Thai regulations require all DDG shipments to be fumigated with methyl bromide.

DDG is a cereal byproduct broadly used as livestock feed.
