SPACE is a massive livestock show. In 2018 more than 108,00 visitors made their way to Rennes, France, for the 33rd expo. Of these, 14,418 came from outside of France to see the 1,410 exhibits, including live animals and farming equipment and to attend a myriad of conferences. Delegations came from countries such as India, China and Korea; in all from 121 countries. Aquaculture has been a relatively small but none the less significant part of the event - 9% of international visitors in 2018 - but that is all about to change.

Recognizing the year-on-year growth in aquaculture-related visitors and exhibitors, SPACE now plans to be a key event for French and international aquaculture businesses. This year, Aquaculture SPACE will feature two conferences on Tuesday, September 10. The first half-day is organized in partnership with Aquafeed.com: Aquaculture Feed Forum "Feeding for Profit" will be in English and free to visitors. It is intended for international and French businesses interested in exporting. An additional aquaculture conference will be held in French.

Aquaculture visitors to the expo will find special path routing to the aquaculture stands and a dedicated catalog. Western France is home to a wide variety of fish farms, as well as many companies offering solutions for aquaculture. Visitors will be able to take part in a number of aquaculture tours now in the planning.
