Co-infections are extremely common in aquatic animals and, therefore, in aquaculture. Co-infections bacteria + virus and bacteria + parasite are very common both in tilapia and shrimp farming, having devastating effects worldwide in a broad range of farming scales and systems.

Ruth Garcia Gomez, BDM Aquatic Health and Farm Care APAC/ISC at Adisseo, will report on the development of preventive feed additive strategies to minimize the impact of common co-infections in tilapia and whiteleg shrimp at Towards Sustainable Aquafeed conference that will take place on September 7, 2022 at VICTAM Asia and Health & Nutrition Asia in Bangkok, Thailand.

Ten presentations will focus on recent developments for aquafeed producers and practical steps for more sustainable and profitable aquafeed and aquaculture production.
