Registration Open for U.S.-Japan Aquaculture Meeting

October 26-27, 2009,
Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi, Texas, USA.

Registration is open for the 2009 United States-Japan Natural Resources Panel on Aquaculture.

The symposium - "The Interaction of Fisheries and Fishing Communities with Aquaculture" will focus on the economic, social and industry management aspects of aquaculture development in the two countries.

A field trip, showcasing aquaculture in Texas, will take place following the symposium. Early-bird discounts on registration for the symposium, or the combined symposium and field trip, are available. Researchers interested in making a presentation should contact Mike Rust of NOAA’s Northwest Fishery Science Center.
