EUfishmeal will organize a workshop on sustainable and responsible sourcing of fishmeal and fish oil that will be held on October 25 in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The workshop will focus on the different perceptions of sustainability and how the fishery industry, governments, feed manufacturers, retailers and consumers can work together to define and implement clear criteria for sustainable production and use of marine resources.

Good management of the fisheries and full traceability of the fish from the catch to the producer are already in place in Europe, but the workshop will address how to get this message through to the end consumers.
