ADM appointments in Animal Nutrition

Archer Daniels Midland has announced the addition of four executive team members to ADM Animal Nutrition. Each individual brings years of experience that will further support ADM Animal Nutrition in the research and development of new products and ingredient solutions that help optimize animal performance and health.

Archer Daniels Midland has announced the addition of four executive team members to ADM Animal Nutrition. Each individual brings years of experience that will further support ADM Animal Nutrition in the research and development of new products and ingredient solutions that help optimize animal performance and health.

Dr. Ryan Lane joins ADM as vice president, Animal Nutrition Research. Lane has a strong background in aquaculture, serving most recently as global technology director for the Cargill aquaculture group. As vice president he will oversee research and product development across all Animal Nutrition markets.

Dr. Alejandro Buentello has been named director, Animal Nutrition Research. Buentello has 26 years of experience in animal nutrition research and broad knowledge of the global aquaculture feed business as well as the impact of functional nutrients on animal performance. In his new role, Buentello will be responsible for developing a robust research and development portfolio that will help ADM expand its ability to deliver new products, services and solutions within the aquaculture industry.

Dr. Gary M. Davenport brings more than 32 years of industry experience to his role as companion animal technical manager for ADM Animal Nutrition. Previously, Davenport served as a research nutritionist with IAMS® and a research and teaching faculty member in the animal and dairy sciences department at Auburn University. In his new role, Davenport will be responsible for providing technical support, nutrition training, formulation services and new product development for the companion animal industry.

Dr. Kristjan Bregendahl joins ADM Animal Nutrition as poultry technical manager. Bregendahl’s breadth of experience includes positions with Sparboe Farms and Hy-Line International, as well as a professorship of Poultry Nutrition at Iowa State University. In his new role, Bregendahl will be responsible for providing technical support and training for the Animal Nutrition poultry business as well as new product development.
